“Futuristic production… unique artistry” EARMILK

In a time where the boundaries between human creativity & artificial intelligence are rapidly dissolving, sci-fi pop trio Lucy Dreams emerge as a striking voice in this new era of music. At the centre of their vision is Lucy, an artificial band member whose presence redefines what it means to collaborate & create. Together with her human counterparts, Lucy Dreams crafts a genre they call SonicWaveArtPop – an immersive blend of analogue warmth & digital innovation that challenges conventions while captivating the senses.

To coincide with their appearance at The Great Escape festival, Brighton in May & following a string of releases that includes a re-imagining of the Arctic Monkeys classic Do I Wanna Know, the Vienna based Lucy Dreams release their latest single Stars – a transcendent fusion of their signature SonicWaveArtPop sound & lyrical mysticism. Already spinning on California’s tastemaker station KCRW, the track reaffirms the band’s role at the cutting edge of human / AI musical collaboration & offers a glimpse into their forthcoming LP VVVVV, accompanied by an immersive augmented reality music video (viewable on iOS16 phone & iPad).

Stars is about the constellation within,” explain Lucy Dreams. “It explores inner clarity, the light that guides us through uncertainty & the quiet revolution of becoming — especially in times of rapid technological change”.

Anchored by Lucy, the band’s artificial band member & creative co-pilot, Stars radiates with its shimmering production, bold synth lines & dreamlike harmonies.

Winners of Austria’s 2024 XA Export Award, Lucy Dreams formed in Vienna out of a shared fascination with the intersection of art, technology & emotion. The project began as a collaboration between two longtime friends & musicians who wanted to explore what happens when analogue songwriting meets digital intelligence. Over time, Lucy, the band’s artificial third member — was born, becoming both their creative partner & a symbol of the future that we’re all navigating with the recent growth in AI.

On the live front, Lucy Dreams have captivated audiences across Europe, Canada & the UK. In 2025, as well as appearing at The Great Escape, the trio embark on a summer tour of Japan, after which they’ll be unveiling their new album VVVVV with a headline show at Vienna’s prestigious Konzerthaus concert hall.
