Having caught the attention of talent spotters like Radio X’s John Kennedy, Amazing Radio’s Charlie Ashcroft & BBC Introducing’s Jericho Keys with her previous singles Midnight & Out of Sight, Hull based singer-songwriter Amelia Quinn is back with her new single Rose Tinted – a heartfelt track about falling in love with life.
Released on Hull’s renowned youth label Warren Records & recorded with local indie producer Adam Pattrick, the song’s intention is to portray excitement about living & how romanticising the ‘little things’ can create a beautiful life. Rose Tinted starts slow & gradually builds to a crescendo where the words ‘I’m feeling’ are repeated over & over again to portray an exhilaration for life itself.
Amelia explains: “For me this track is romantic, passionate & intense. It’s all about allowing yourself to feel everyday things & events so extremely that you end up falling in love with life itself. I wanted to write about the little details & create a song that portrays intense emotion towards these small aspects that make life feel so full. This track is vulnerable & yet powerful”.
