“A singer-songwriter with the intent of deciphering the beauty of everyday life and compiling a musical shoulder to cry on” CLASH

Having caused a stir a few years back with the release of his EP Heddison, featuring key track Oxytocin – which now sits at over a million streams on Spotify – Hull born / Manchester based singer-songwriter Jack Conman went on to enjoy airplay from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, perform at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and make CLASH’s coveted Next Wave feature. Now, as we start to recover from the pandemic, Jack releases The Beauty of Women alongside the release of his debut  album Seventh Sense Libido from where the track comes.

The Beauty Of Women, with its soft and delicate instrumentation, sees Jack sing about being in awe of women as an entity. “women have taught me some of the most valuable lessons & I feel really honoured to have my female close friends & relatives. It’s not a romantic love song as such but more a love song for a few different friends of mine. I feel there’s a lot of wishy-washy bravado & disconnect with male relationships that tires a lot. So there’s also a subliminal message for myself in this song to always be open & true to one’s self regardless. Basically, women have taught me to be emotionally honest & I’m not sure if I’d be here today if it wasn’t for them”.
