Bursting at the seams with obnoxious attitude, Orange Juice & Milk is dripping with confidence & although it’s subversively hidden at first by a deceivingly simple pop production, the conversational tone of the verses make it feel like she’s talking to you directly.
As for the subject matter, So Good explains “There’s something really visceral about the combination of orange juice & milk, & having now tried several combinations of the two, I can confirm that they taste awful & really don’t go together. My research has shown me that the orange juice curdles the milk & turns it into lumpy cheese, & now I can’t even smell either of the liquids without wanting to be sick! So when the song says, ‘we go together like orange juice & milk’; you can see where I’m coming from”.
