“Bold & tenacious” – Mystic Sons
Having enjoyed support from BBC Introducing’s Jericho Keys & Capital Radio on their previous singles, Hull-based indie-rock outfit The Stance are back to share the track One Step Forward from their latest EP The Best Is Yet To Come – three heartfelt tracks about mental health & dealing with first relationships, all wrapped up in explosive drums & angst-ridden guitars.
Co-produced by The Warren’s in-house producer Adam Pattrick & the band, One Step Forward is a song that celebrates the strength & resilience shown by certain people when growing up in difficult circumstances & how such strength & integrity are better understood over time. As vocalist Jaz explains: “As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to understand more clearly just how strong the person this song relates to, truly was. The song carries a deep meaning for both me, my family & remains very close to all our hearts”.
